Over sixteen years our studio has built a strong reputation by developing and producing dynamic, sophisticated media. Michal Beroun (Education: MBA in Cinematography, FAMU - Film Academy of Performing Arts, Prague), has over 28 years experience in the industry as director of photography, producer, director and an editor. Michal plays a vital role as director of Grail Films, and oversees the hiring of personnel as well as organising production schedules. We have a proven track record of exceeding our client’s expectations, delivering projects on budget and on time.Our strength lies in our flexibility and work ethic. We work from concept through to completion with strong client interaction, to achieve the best possible results. In 2001 Michal was awarded the best documentary at the Queensland Media Awards for “The World’s Greatest Band” a documentary about Charters Towers and In 2005, Michal won the best interactive CD-ROM at the Media Awards with a Gugu-badhun Indigenous Language CD-ROM for JCU. We are familiar with and experienced in working with government and indigenous organisations. This has allowed us the opportunity to create a wide range of multimedia for The Australian Museum, the Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre, and the national Indigenous Diabetic Foot Program for Indigenous health. Over the last ten years, we have provided a monthly service to Ergon Energy /Energy Queensland through filming, production, editing, distributing interactive DVDs, web streaming used for staff training and safety updates which are distributed on a state scale every month.
